CONTINUOUS HEAT SENSOR

Continuous sensor thermal wires are used for detecting the fire in the areas they are located in cases of fire. In this system, it is aimed to detect fire by fastening the continuous thermal wire on surfaces in the area desired to be protected from fire. As for detection period, detection can be performed within 5 up to 20 seconds depending on magnitude, class of fire and the area it bursts out. As for detection temperature it can make detection between 50 and 250 degrees according to customer’s desire. It can transmit detection temperature to control box and the ambient temperature can also be measured. It is suitable for the multistructured complicated systems which are not suitable for UV-IR detectors to make detection. It is multi-usable and can continue detection after each activation. It has an operation temperature between -55°C and +250°C and it is extensively used on tank engines, electrical panels and generators.

Purpose

Continuous Heat Sensor Wire, is a temperature measurement sensor used in the aviation industry. This wire is used to monitor aircraft components such as high-temperature engines, exhaust systems, and other aerospace components.

Continuous Heat Sensor Wire uses a thermal resistance-based technology. As the temperature around the sensor wire increases, the electrical resistance of the wires changes. Thus, temperature fluctuations can be measured in real-time, and potential over-heating or cooling situations can be identified by triggering an alarm.

Continuous Heat Sensor Wire is crucial for the aviation industry. Due to the extreme conditions that airplanes are exposed to, temperature fluctuations can cause damage or failure in components. Therefore, Aero Continuous Heat Sensor Wire helps to ensure that components remain within the correct temperature range, preventing potential dangers.

Where to use

Continuous Heat Sensor Wire is used in the aviation industry. This wire is used to monitor aircraft components such as high-temperature engines, exhaust systems, and other aerospace components.

Moreover, Continuous Heat Sensor Wire can also be used for more specialized applications such as military aircraft, spacecraft, and satellite systems. These sensors help prevent potential damages by monitoring temperature fluctuations and triggering alarms in case of over-heating or cooling situations in such applications.

In summary, Continuous Heat Sensor Wire is crucial for the aviation industry and helps prevent potential dangers by ensuring that components such as airplanes remain within the correct temperature range even when operating at high temperatures.

Types

Continuous Heat Sensor Wire has two main types: thermocouple and resistance temperature detector (RTD).

Thermocouple is a temperature sensor made by combining different metals. This wire measures a small electrical potential difference caused by temperature changes. When used as Continuous Heat Sensor Wire, thermocouples are ideal for measuring temperatures in aircraft components such as high-temperature engines and exhaust systems.

Resistance temperature detector (RTD) based Continuous Heat Sensor Wire works by using a heat-sensitive resistance element. These wires are typically more suitable for high-precision temperature measurements. RTDs may also have a longer lifespan and require less maintenance.

Although both thermocouples and RTDs can be used as Continuous Heat Sensor Wire, the choice of which to use may vary depending on the usage scenario, temperature range, and other factors.

Features

Some features of Continuous Heat Sensor Wire are:

  1. High-temperature operation: Continuous Heat Sensor Wire is used to monitor components such as high-temperature engines and exhaust systems.

  2. Precise temperature measurement: Using thermocouple or resistance temperature detector technology, Continuous Heat Sensor Wire can perform high-precision temperature measurements.

  3. Real-time data display: Continuous Heat Sensor Wire allows real-time measurement of temperature values, which can be monitored by humans via control units.

  4. Long life: Continuous Heat Sensor Wire can have a long lifespan and require less maintenance since it is made from high-quality materials.

  5. Durability: Continuous Heat Sensor Wire is designed to withstand challenging conditions such as those found in aircraft and is resistant to wear and damage.

  6. Safety: Continuous Heat Sensor Wire helps prevent potential dangers by detecting over-heating or cooling situations in high-temperature components.

  7. Wide temperature range: Continuous Heat Sensor Wire can operate in different temperature ranges and can measure temperatures between -200°C and 1800°C.

  8. Various size options: Continuous Heat Sensor Wire is available in different length and thickness options so that it can be adapted for different applications.

Test Standarts

The Continuous Heat Sensor Wire test standards require certain testing procedures to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the sensor wires. Quality and durability of Continuous Heat Sensor Wire are particularly critical in the aviation industry.

The Continuous Heat Sensor Wire test standards may include:

  1. DO-160: This standard is a document that covers a set of test procedures used to test aircraft electronic equipment. The electromagnetic compatibility, vibration resistance, high-temperature performance, and other features of Continuous Heat Sensor Wire can be evaluated by tests specified by this standard.
  2. MIL-STD-810: This standard covers the testing of environmental conditions for military hardware. Continuous Heat Sensor Wire can be subjected to vibration, shock, humidity, and temperature tests determined by this standard.
  3. SAE Aerospace Standard AS5420: This standard determines the design, quality control, and testing requirements for Aero Continuous Heat Sensor Wire.
  4. ASTM E2358: This standard is a testing method used to test the thermal properties of Continuous Heat Sensor Wire and similar materials.

These test standards can be applied to ensure the quality and safety of Continuous Heat Sensor Wire. Therefore, it is important for manufacturers to follow these standards when planning to use the sensor in the aviation industry.

What does it do

Continuous Heat Sensor Wire is a type of sensor used to continuously measure the heat in an aircraft’s engines or other critical components. The purpose of this sensor is to constantly monitor temperature changes in order to prevent potential overheating or fire hazards. The sensor is essential for safe travel in an aircraft and is widely used in the aviation industry.
