NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

PRODUCT CODE: NAFEG

Compact, independent, and highly responsive fire suppression solutions are increasingly essential for enclosed spaces where rapid fire detection and immediate extinguishing are critical. In environments where electrical power may be unavailable or unreliable, autonomous fire protection systems provide a decisive advantage. The NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher is developed to meet these needs by combining fire detection and extinguishing into a single, self-contained solution that delivers fast, clean, and environmentally responsible fire suppression.

NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

The NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher is an all-in-one, independent fire suppression system in which fire detection and extinguishing are integrated into a single unit. The system can operate independently without being connected to any external electrical power source and may also be controlled via a control unit when required.

Equipped with a thermal sensor/activator, NAFEG automatically detects fire and activates at predefined temperature thresholds, such as 57°C, 68°C, 79°C, 93°C, 141°C, or 180°C, depending on application requirements. Once activated, the aerosol extinguisher suppresses the fire rapidly and effectively.

Purpose of the NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

NAFEG is designed to quickly extinguish small fires in enclosed or confined spaces, preventing fire spread and minimizing damage. It is particularly effective against:

  • Electrical equipment fires

  • Oil-based kitchen fires

  • Fires in enclosed environments where conventional extinguishers may be difficult to use

The primary purpose of NAFEG is to enhance occupant safety and provide early-stage fire suppression before a fire escalates.

Where to Use NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguishers

Thanks to its compact size and independent operation, the NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher can be used in a wide range of environments, including:

  • Homes and residential areas

  • Offices and commercial buildings

  • Vehicles, boats, and recreational vehicles

  • Hotels, restaurants, and kitchens

  • Schools, hospitals, and shopping malls

  • Campsites and enclosed outdoor shelters

It is especially suitable for enclosed spaces and specialized fire risks, such as electrical and oil-based fires.

Types of NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguishers

Testing Standards and Certifications

The NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher complies with internationally recognized fire safety standards, including:

  • ISO 15779 – Performance testing for aerosol fire extinguishers

  • EN 3-7 – Portable fire extinguisher standards

  • UL 711A – Performance testing for aerosol extinguishers

  • NFPA 10 – Design, installation, and maintenance requirements

These standards ensure reliability and effectiveness across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

How the NAFEG Aerosol Fire Extinguisher Works

NAFEG uses advanced aerosol fire suppression technology to extinguish fires. When activated, the system disperses extremely fine aerosol particles (less than 10 microns) into the protected area.

Inside the metal canister, a solid block of alkaline metal salts is triggered by a thermal sensor or mechanical signal. This initiates a redox reaction, generating a fire-suppressing aerosol fog composed of:

  • Potassium carbonate

  • Water vapor

  • Carbon dioxide

  • Nitrogen

The aerosol suppresses fire through a dual mechanism:

  • Physical cooling, reducing flame temperature

  • Chemical inhibition, neutralizing free radicals that sustain combustion

New, Clean, and Ecological Fire Suppression Technology

NAFEG aerosol extinguishers are based on solid potassium salt technology, making them both environmentally friendly and safe for human health. Unlike traditional pressurized extinguishers, they do not require pressure vessels or leak-free conditions, enhancing operational safety and reliability.

Compared to systems such as FM-200 and Novec 1230, NAFEG provides a cost-effective and efficient fire suppression alternative, particularly for small enclosed spaces.

The NAFEG-TED model integrates fire detection and fire suppression into a single autonomous unit. It can operate independently or be controlled via a control unit, without requiring an external power supply.

With multiple activation temperature options (57°C to 180°C), NAFEG-TED offers flexibility, rapid response, and easy installation across a wide range of fire protection applications.
