FT-80 Overpressure Filtration System is developed to protect vehicle crews against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats by generating and maintaining positive internal pressure. By ensuring that internal pressure remains higher than external atmospheric pressure, the system creates a protective barrier against contaminated air.
The system is deployed in military vehicles requiring collective overpressure CBRN protection. Typical applications include armored vehicles, tactical platforms, command vehicles, and special-purpose military vehicles operating in environments with potential CBRN contamination.
FT-80 measures and displays the pressure difference between external and internal environments through a digital interface. External pressure data is transmitted to the internal sensor via a pneumatic hose, allowing continuous pressure comparison and monitoring.
The system provides audible and visual warnings when the pressure difference falls below the manually adjustable threshold. Operational support features include dim-out mode, alarm muting, and built-in test functionality.
FT-80 uses high-efficiency particulate (HEPA) filtration and active carbon gas filtration to clean incoming air before supplying it to the vehicle. The system is designed as a bolt-on solution, allowing installation on vehicles already in service without requiring structural modifications. Filter replacement can be performed from inside the vehicle, enabling continued crew safety in life-threatening situations.
FT-80 Overpressure Filtration System is designed and validated in accordance with the following standards:
NATO AEP-54
MIL-STD-810
MIL-STD-461
These standards verify environmental durability, electromagnetic compatibility, and collective protection performance under military operational conditions.
The FT-80 system continuously filters contaminated ambient air and supplies clean air into the vehicle while maintaining stable positive pressure. Through pressure monitoring, automatic warning mechanisms, and controlled airflow, the system ensures uninterrupted crew protection and operational safety during CBRN exposure without requiring personnel to exit the vehicle.
