Deployment Areas
The control unit is deployed on military vehicles, law enforcement platforms, anti-riot vehicles, and tactical security systems equipped with smoke grenade launchers. Configuration and Structural Design
UMAY DC-6 features a digital display that presents an on-vehicle schematic, providing clear visualization of launcher status and system configuration. The user interface is designed for intuitive operation, enabling quick selection of ammunition, firing mode, and system state.
The unit supports control of up to twelve smoke grenades and is capable of managing two different types of smoke ammunition. Built-In Test (BIT) functionality allows operators to verify system integrity and readiness during maintenance and pre-mission checks.
UMAY DC-6 communicates with other onboard systems through CAN-BUS, RS422, RS232, and Fast Ethernet interfaces, enabling seamless integration within vehicle electronic architectures. The unit operates on a 24 VDC nominal power supply and is protected by an IP67-rated enclosure.
