NE-MAC1000 Military Air Conditioner

NE-MAC1000 is designed to provide reliable air conditioning for military containers and shelters used in field operations. The system supports thermal stability inside enclosed environments, protecting electronic equipment and improving operational comfort for personnel. Its design allows the unit to remain integrated within the container structure during transport and deployment.

Deployment Areas

NE-MAC1000 is deployed in military containers and shelter systems where controlled indoor temperature is required. Typical use cases include command shelters, communication containers, equipment shelters, and mobile operational units. The system is suitable for both permanent and temporary field deployments and supports operation in hot and humid environments as well as during cold start conditions.

Installation and Mechanical Structure

The NE-MAC1000 is mounted inside the container using a rail-based trap door system. During operation, the unit is pushed outward from the container while remaining suspended on the cover system rails. When not in use or during transportation, the air conditioner can be pushed back into the container and secured by locking the lid.

The unit is housed in a cabinet made of 0.8 mm galvanized sheet steel. The top surface is painted in standard NATO green (RAL 6014). A trap door accessory provides protection against rain and excessive sunlight while the system is operating.

Cooling and Airflow Operation

The operating mechanism of the NE-MAC1000 is based on a closed cooling circuit supported by two powerful fan systems. The evaporator and evaporator fan located at the front of the unit draw warm indoor air through the cold evaporator surface and discharge cooled air back into the container through the outlet grille.

At the rear of the unit, the condenser coil and condenser fan transfer heat from the system and release it into the surrounding atmosphere. The system includes fresh air intake, recirculating air inlet, and coarse filtration at outdoor, fresh air, and indoor air inlets.

The system can operate in “ventilation only” mode, allowing air circulation without active cooling.

Performance Characteristics

NE-MAC1000 is capable of providing cooling at ambient temperatures up to +60°C. It uses an environmentally friendly R134a refrigerant with a maximum cooling capacity of 4.9 kW. Airflow rates reach up to 700 m³/h on the evaporator side and 1400 m³/h on the condenser side.

The unit operates within an ambient temperature range of 20°C to 60°C and maintains stable performance in both dry and humid environments. Noise levels remain controlled, with low-speed operation measured at 56 dB(A) and high-speed operation at 62 dB(A) at a distance of one meter.

Control and Optional Heating

The system is controlled via a room thermostat installed inside the container. Two-speed fan selectors allow adjustment of internal airflow based on operational requirements.

In a special configuration, NE-MAC1000 can be equipped with an optional 2 kW electric heating element. This feature supports indoor air heating during cold start conditions or operation in cold environments.

Test Standards

NE-MAC1000 Military Air Conditioner is designed and tested in accordance with the following military standards:

  • MIL-STD-810G for environmental durability

  • MIL-STD-461F for electromagnetic compatibility

These standards verify reliable operation under military environmental and operational conditions.

Functional Role

NE-MAC1000 functions as an integrated climate control solution for military containers and shelters. By regulating internal temperature and airflow, the system protects sensitive equipment from overheating, supports continuous system operation, and enhances personnel working conditions.

All major components are designed to operate as a unified system, ensuring reliable performance, ease of maintenance, and compatibility with military container infrastructures.
