The G17M generator is capable of automatic activation when the main power supply to equipment shelters is interrupted. It uses a military-grade AGM battery with a minimum capacity of 40 Ah, enabling reliable startup even at ambient temperatures as low as −32°C when supported by a pre-heater.

The generator can operate at full load for a minimum of eight hours using its internal fuel tank without refueling. It provides a 220 VAC / 50 Hz single-phase output compatible with military systems.

Electrical connectors are manufactured in accordance with MIL-DTL-38999 and/or VG95234 standards, ensuring secure and reliable electrical connections. The control board is protected to IP67 standard against dust and water ingress.

All major components of the Military Generator 17 kVA – G17M—including the engine, alternator, control systems, and enclosure—are designed, manufactured, and tested by Nero Industries.
