AC/DC Converter – CNV2-R is designed to operate as part of a military vehicle battery management system or as an independent DC power source. The converter supplies regulated 24 VDC power to onboard electrical systems and enables controlled charging of vehicle batteries, supporting system continuity and battery health during military operations.
CNV2-R is used across a wide range of military applications including armored vehicles, fighter aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, submarines, mobile field hospitals, logistics units, and military bases. The unit supports both vehicle-mounted and deployable use cases where reliable AC to DC conversion is required.
CNV2-R can be configured either as a DC power supply or as a battery charging device. In DC mode, the converter can supply up to 80A independently from the vehicle engine. In battery charging mode, it is capable of charging all connected batteries simultaneously.
The system automatically stops operation when the vehicle engine starts and shuts down automatically after completing its operation cycle. Battery temperature is continuously monitored, allowing the converter to adapt charging current automatically or stop operation when necessary to protect batteries.
Audible and visual alerts are provided for high voltage faults, short circuit conditions, battery charging errors, and converter malfunctions. The converter shuts down automatically in the event of a short circuit to ensure electrical safety. CNV2-R is transportable and equipped with a minimum five-meter cable to support flexible deployment.
AC/DC Converter – CNV2-R is designed and tested in accordance with the following standards:
-
MIL-STD-810
-
MIL-STD-704
-
DO-160
-
IEEE 112
These standards verify environmental durability, electrical performance, electromagnetic compatibility, and operational reliability in military applications.
CNV2-R converts AC electrical power into regulated DC power for military systems while managing battery charging in a controlled and monitored manner. It ensures stable power delivery to electronic equipment, protects batteries through adaptive charging control, and responds safely to electrical fault conditions.
Designed for military use, CNV2-R supports reliable operation of vehicle systems, communication platforms, ISR assets, and auxiliary power infrastructures under harsh operational conditions.
