The Military Weather Station is developed to support operational decision-making by providing precise meteorological data required for military activities. By continuously measuring atmospheric conditions, the system enables accurate assessment of environmental factors affecting weapon systems, vehicle performance, and mission planning.
The system is deployed on military vehicles, command and control shelters, military bases, ships, and other mobile or fixed platforms. It is compatible with wheeled and tracked vehicles as well as command control shelters equipped with light and medium caliber weapon systems.
The Military Weather Station performs continuous measurement of critical meteorological parameters, including air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and absolute atmospheric pressure.
The system supports multiple configuration types, including ballistic-only versions, ballistic systems with compass integration, and configurations combining ballistic measurement, compass, and GPS positioning. Sensor orientation and directional data are referenced to magnetic north to ensure consistency in directional measurements.
Measured data is transmitted to external systems through RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet, and CAN-BUS J1939 interfaces, enabling seamless integration with vehicle electronics and command systems.
The system measures wind speed within a range of 0 to 60 m/s with defined accuracy and resolution. Wind direction and sensor orientation are measured across a full 360-degree azimuth. Air temperature is monitored across a wide operational range suitable for extreme environmental conditions, while relative humidity and atmospheric pressure measurements provide comprehensive environmental awareness.
The compact mechanical structure and low weight allow easy integration onto mobile platforms without introducing significant payload or balance constraints.
The Military Weather Station is designed and validated in accordance with the following military standards:
-
MIL-STD-810H
-
MIL-STD-461G
-
MIL-STD-1275E
These standards ensure environmental durability, electromagnetic compatibility, and reliable operation within military electrical systems.
The Military Weather Station continuously collects and transmits meteorological data required for operational planning and real-time decision-making. By delivering accurate weather measurements under harsh environmental conditions, the system supports mission effectiveness, weapon system accuracy, and overall operational safety.
