CBRN Digital Pressure Differential Control Unit is used to measure, display, and monitor the pressure difference between internal protected zones and external environments. The unit enables operators to maintain the required positive pressure level inside collective protection systems, ensuring controlled airflow and protection integrity against external threats.
The unit is deployed in CBRN collective protection systems installed in military vehicles, shelters, containers, and protected enclosures. It is suitable for applications where continuous pressure monitoring is required to maintain internal overpressure relative to the surrounding environment.
External pressure is transmitted to the internal sensor through a pneumatic hose, while internal pressure is measured directly within the protected enclosure. The unit calculates and displays the pressure differential digitally on the screen.
Audible and visual alarms are activated when the measured pressure difference falls below the manually set threshold value. The control unit includes blackout mode, alarm mute function, and built-in device self-test capability to support operational flexibility.
When integrated with analog control units, the pneumatic line enables accurate positive pressure calculation while venting to atmospheric conditions.
CBRN Digital Pressure Differential Control Unit has successfully passed environmental and electromagnetic testing in accordance with the following standards:
-
MIL-STD-810 for high temperature, low temperature, humidity, shock, and vibration
-
MIL-STD-461 for EMI / EMC compliance
These tests confirm reliable operation under harsh military and CBRN operational conditions.
The control unit continuously monitors pressure differential to ensure that protected environments maintain positive pressure relative to external conditions. By providing real-time visual indication and alarm-based warnings, it supports operational safety and system integrity in CBRN collective protection applications.
